Human Resource Recruiter (Part-Time)

ARMADA is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can handle multiple recruiting assignments. It is preferred the candidate possess federal contracting services experience, knowledge of cleared personnel processes, strong interpersonal skills, communications and writing skills.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Author recruitment advertisements for posting on the website, internet and other recruiting sources.
  • Support the entire staffing process: recruit, screen, initial interview, coordinating face-to-face interviews with Onsite Leads/Project Managers, testing and work with leadership to complete final selection of employees to fill vacant positions throughout organization
  • After placement, support and maintain relationships with team members directly supporting clients
  • Assist with programs to ensure employee retention
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and compiles and reports trends to management for action
  • Network and build relationships with professionals in the various markets to establish a pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Flexible schedule to potentially allow for evening and/or weekend discussions with candidates.
  • Aggressively assist the team with staffing bid and proposals with key personnel as well as maintain a bench of qualified personnel for high turn-over positions
  • Participate in cross-training and assist the team with other human resource duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Strong understanding of recruiting, vetting, and on-boarding of employees, especially for candidates supporting federal contracting
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use computer software applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases and email.
  • Possess excellent organizational and file management skills
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Not afraid to reach out and/or interact with passive candidates
  • Detail orientated, maintains regular contact with candidates or onboarding employees
  • Experience with various recruiting tools/databases and recruiting compliance services.
  • Possess excellent typing abilities and the skill to prepare documents accurately with minimal errors.
  • Ability to professionally interact with customers, colleagues and command members at all levels; and to foster positive business relationships.


Minimum/General Experience:

  • The PT Human Resource Recruiter shall have at least five years of recruiting experience.
  • The individual must have a documented work history demonstrating success at increasing levels of responsibility and human resources in the area of recruiting and employee relations, etc.
  • The individual must have good critical thinking and writing skills and the ability to facilitate complex discussions with stakeholders.

Minimum Education:

BS/BA in Human Resources or Business preferred.
